Hey people and cetes!!
We've been using the Setting Discussion board to play around with a variety of Blue Planet thematic topics - and by all means let's continue to do so!
But, as mentioned during the Q&A call with Jeff, we could also set aside a section of the forums for a collection of community-built lore entries and scenario hooks that are complete, polished, easy to pick up and free to incorporate into anybody's game.
As some of you know, the original Undercurrents are/were a series of publications serving a dual purpose of being the Biohazard newsletter and also official Blue Planet mini-supplements. They're mostly from Blue Planet v1 era, but they're nevertheless absolutely precious resources for any BP Game Moderator and Player alike. Those of you who haven't seen them yet, go ahead and feast your eyes and minds: www.biohazardgamespublishing.com/info
As you'll see, a substantial number of the Undercurrents entries have found their way into BPv2 books, even if sometimes there simply wasn't enough space for the entire articles. The refinery of Kraken (one of my absolutely favourite locations), mentioned in the Moderator's Guide in the form of just 5 paragraphs, in the Undercurrents #5-6 has a thorough description, a super cool floor plan, and a whole scenario taking place on it.
Over the next months, Jeff and his team will be working on the Recontact edition of the Player's Guide and Moderator's Guide. But that doesn't mean we should just sit idle! Erm..., I mean float with no purpose.
Let's have some creative fun too and share it with others!
I have now created the Undercurrents board with the following sub-boards:
Before posting anything in these sub-boards, please ensure you read the Undercurrents board rules. It's really just for the sake of tidiness and user-friendly access to your creations.
I'm looking forward to seeing your entries!! And I'll be posting some of mine when time allows too.
