The Sea Bike is a lower-tech alternative to smart fins. The device consists of a pole about 1.5m long. At one end is a small propeller, in the middle is a pair of pedals, and the other end connects to a belt around the user's waist. To use it, you put the pole between your legs, attach it to the belt, and put your feet on the pedals. As you pedal, the propeller turns and you move through the water much faster than unassisted. The sea bike comes in two versions. The basic version is purely mechanical; the smart version uses adaptive variable pitch on the propeller to maximise acceleration and braking performance. Both versions increase the user's swimming speed by two metres per action. Dimensions: handheld (1.5m long, 300g) Durability: +1 Availability: Common Features: Cold. Smart verison adds Flat and Responsive. Cost: 150cs for the basic version, 250cs for the smart version. (This is totally stolen from the real world sea bike.)

Think ebike and add a battery and a small electric motor to this. This way, you can go either longer distances or quicker over shorter distances.
