One way to expand the living space on Poseidon would be floating cities.
One of my favorite YouTube channels posted a month ago a video about the idea from an architectural standpoint.
If you want to just see visuatlization of different concepts (which might match the aesthetics or viewpoint of different factions on Poseidon) or learn about the history of the idea, this video might be a good start.
Btw, Dami Lee has quite a few videos about architecture that might be helpful in hard scifi. For location ideas or for just destribing locations better.
There is one concept where she shows an animation quite a few times but never discusses it in depth: a turtle-shaped city-ship. I could that one see as a vanity project of an Incorporate, some leftover ex-nobles or some hyper-rich person.

Nice find, Jens!! Haha, there's a Fortnite trailer there for the floating city. I guess they're looking for influencer views for additional buzz and publicity. There's also a passenger count there and allegedly they already have 79! Good luck to them. But yeah, great find. Lavender Organics' Dyfed is one of the most successful company towns on Poseidon - and the concept of mobile settlements definitely has big incentives on a planet where near-immortal storms can utterly wreck just about anything that can't get out of the way.

Don't you just hate it when you hear on the news about a storm coming you way and you sail into a safe harbour of a big city complex, settle down happy about your luck just to wake up when the storm arrives and discovers that the floating city is gone!?

After posting the video from Dami Lee, I needed to check if one of my other favorite YouTube channels had something to say about setting the oceans. And of course Issac Arthur did - twice.
Seasteading & Artificial Islands
Colonizing the Oceans
Isaac Arthur's channel - if you have never encountered it - is all about futurism, very often about how humanity might. In a more or less realistic way. Real good fodder for any science and science fiction enthusiast.

Floating cities are pretty central to several SF stories, including;
- James H. Schmitz’s “Trouble Tide” and _The Demon Breed_ - Frank Herbert’s _The Jesus Incident_ and _The Lazarus Effect_ (the two middle novels in his Destination: Void quadrology) - Philip Jose Farmer’s , _The Gates of Creation_ second novel in the World of Tiers series
Good ideas in all three to help bring such settings alive in BP, in particular the first two I listed.
Allan.
