Hey fellow mammals,
The March Kickstarter update is here and it turns out we've all failed to realise (unless some of us thought this didn't make it through the Recontact edition cutting floor stage) that there was no World of Hurt chapter preview shown to us yet! Well, it's just arrived and it has some never before seen art too. I've always loved this chapter - vast majority of BP characters spend vast majority of their lives on the World of Hurt, before migrating to the big blue ball, so it's important to have a solid vision of it.

I got wondering, if Earthers call Earth the "pale blue dot", it is a bit dull to call Poseidon "the big blue ball", so how about the Poseidoners call it "the beachball"?

In the play test description, a "timeline visualisation app" is mentioned, anyone that know which it is and/or other similar applications? I have been looking for one for … a very long time! Should preferably be able to handle dates both in 12C as well as in 22C.

Yeah, but at the moment all effort goes into completing the books and the remaining Kickstarter bits are phase two, I believe.

No, I think you misunderstood me now or I misunderstood you and the KS update. I understood it as one of the players in the play test campaign had an application that could show a timeline for the various events referred to in the campaign. I presume the visualisation was a straight line for time and then markers with text denoting the campaign important event and a date. I am on the lookout for such an application regardless of what they use in the play test, hence my curiosity.

Yeah, there must be tons of apps out there with various degrees of purpose-specific design. You're quite right - it would be good to know what sort of app they used. Come to think of it, I could use one too! Wanna ask the question on the Kickstarter comments?

Yeah, there must be tons of apps out there with various degrees of purpose-specific design. From what I can tell: no. I've only found project management applications an those are ugly and focus on dates between 1950-01-01 to 2050-12-31. I've driven some traffic to the campaign update now… 😉 But I also wante to create some traffic here…
