Wow, allie, I always find myself rapidly googling whenever I read your ideas! Fascinating fact consumption on a Sunday evening is a delicious thing. Thank you! And yeah, a lovely wee scientific project to be had deep in Poseidon's waters, with all the complications and discovery potential it can offer!

At long last, only one edition after it was done away with: a reason to put points in Astronomy. (Seriously though, it was pretty wild to research that and realize, "Wow, there's hard science that Poseidon's just never had the infrastructure to do before.")
Fun line of thought: as of 2018 we know that the Sun produces neutrinos, and that a supernova did 168,000 years ago, but we have no idea about Lambda Serpentis. If you want to get into cosmic mysteries about where the Precursors came from, weird data from the ANT Hive could end up being a clue of some form.

That is an amazing adventure hook and a lovely theme for a larger campaign, Allie! Ha, and now you've uploaded the Publican!! Awesome wee piece of work! Keep them coming!! English isn't my first language so the only wordplay I detect in that nasty fish's name is political.

Wait, what are you picking up? (It was subtle but I was implying that the natives called publicans "shylocks," probably born from a joke about the proverbial pound of flesh.)

Does Publican not have something to do with Republican?

Not at all! "Publican" is an archaic word for a tax farmer (see also the genus name Telonaria), and an allusion to the parable of the Pharisee and the Publican, where the Publican's implicitly exploiting his community.
They're not dangerous like great whites, they're dangerous like cookiecutter sharks; add up the medical and repair bills from a publican trying to bite-and-run every time you cross paths you'll get where the name comes from.

I'd love for Ben to illustrate on of those! Awesome work, Allie.
