1) I like the original but it looks too much of an a strangely stylied :-(.
2) Looks like a real logo, well done.
3) Fun alteration but too much I think.
4) By far the coolest but to much of neon.
I voted for 4 if the logo is to be updated at all and the neon light is turned off.

I like option 2. Option 3 would work if the logo was large, so you could see the lettering. Perhaps on the side or front of a building, physical or in AR.
Interesting that the logo doesn't even have a nod towards the laurel wreath symbol of the United Nations and its commissions. Perhaps there's an older logo that shows the GEO being a department of the UN, and places like the USA insist on using it?

And then as the newly minted GEO kept establishing and entrenching itself, it probably reached a reform/revision stage that would be well supported by a fresh logo launch. And of course the new logo had to clearly differ from the ghosts of UN past. |

Option 2 is my favourite, but I do wonder why every version obscures the letters so much. I would have thought they would opt for something clearer, really. Unless these logos would also have a simple G.E.O. written underneath in many contexts?

I suppose it's the actual High Commissions that truly matter, so additional context would definitely be needed in most cases and the logo itself is purely a symbol. |

Out of curiosity, how many voted on Twitter? (I've never been a heavy user of Twitter and have stopped altogether until they get their act together, and am not sure the algorithms would have let me see this voting anyway.)
