This cuteness in pure form! A genius idea for an illustration!!! I love it! I wonder which of the backers suggested it.  It brings to mind that flavour story about an Orca insurgent torpedoing an underwater installation - but of course here the idea is subverted into a much more peaceful scene. |

What I really like with Blue Planet is the deep world building, the art and flavour stories need to contain normal life as well, not only violence (art usually shows violence, never death; I think great inspiration can be found in e.g. Christopher Nevinson - Paths of Glory). On the topic of backer suggestions for art: is there or will there be a "this suggestion inspired this piece" list somewhere? I think many would appreciate it. |

I believe Jeff (Biohazardgames) is very fond of the slice of life approach to RPG storytelling. Pioneers and settlers, building new life for themselves, is one of his preferred campaign flavours.  I may be wrong, but I think there were quite a lot of overlapping suggestions and I'm pretty sure some artworks will be merging multiple suggestions together - so it would be difficult to point at a specific suggestion in such cases. |

"I considered that and thought it would be fun, but in the end, there was so much condensing of multiple suggestions into most of the individual images and modification of others to refine their concepts that it made listing individual inspirations impractical."

I am not surprised, I expected that several suggestions would be combined but hard to speculate when one haven't seen them. I am curious though if my suggestion would make into the art somehow.
