Did the physical look of the Aboriginies / Nereids (sorry, they will be Abos for me forever) change? I do not remember that they had a head.

I don't think it says anywhere in particular that they do not have heads.  There's a very similar "head"-like thing that can be seen on the cover of the 2nd Ed Moderator's Guide. |
