Hey Fellow Mammals, Those of you that have watched Avatar: The Way of Water (twice already in my case) will probably agree that the film is chock full of visuals and themes highly adjacent to Blue Planet. Whilst I don't mean to advertise their merchandise, I just thought I'd let you know that the Visual Dictionary they released a few days ago is absolutely full of technology and wildlife designs that can be very easily imported into Blue Planet. Lots of visual inspirations for Blue Planet, from submarine exteriors and interiors, through colonial boomtowns, to marine flora and fauna.

That's a cool reference! It reminds me of a book series from here in the US back when I was young, somewhere in the late 80s or early 90s I think, where they had a series of reference books that were heavily illustrated, and looked a lot like this. They looked very much like the Avatar cover with large, roman-typeface titles like FOSSILS or TREES or something like that. I now picture one titled POSEIDON, hah! Alternate timeline.

LAMBDA SERPENTIS FIELD GUIDE Ha, we're gonna have plenty of equipment and wildlife illustrations in the Recontact books, but I do very much hope the line will grow beyond that with some juicy sourcebooks in the future.
